Here are two of Winter. Can you see the difference? I can't. I spent ages stitching, but there's just no progress in the confetti up in the trees. I decided to go back up there and get it done once and for all.

I can see some definite progress Debby, especially on that longish branch on the right. Hang in there - you’ll soon be out of that confetti and stitching an easier area. I had forgotten how beautiful this piece is!

Well, we have had an adventurous day! It was snowing hard when we got up, but the airline said our flight was on time. The taxi made it to the airport with difficulty, but there was nobody on the other side of security. By this time nothing was certain, but after announcing a few times that our flight was delayed, they finally cancelled it. We got out about three hours later and landed safely in Montreal. After boarding our flight to New York, we were told that the plane had mechanical difficulties and had to be repaired, so there went another hour and a half! We’re now safely in our hotel room and ready for bed. All’s well that ends well!

Good morning everyone! Another SAL has come upon us so quickly. I’ll be boarding the cruise ship tomorrow and will have two days at sea, so I may be able to start my mini project - Van Gogh’s Sunflowers. It’s only 62 x 80 stitches, so no idea what the detail will be like, but at least my hands will stay busy! Will anybody be joining in?

Hello! I will be joining in this SAL with my Japanese Garden. Hope you've enjoyed your flight, Wendy, and have a wonderful cruise!

Chris, welcome back! Even sideways, I see you've made great progress on the boys. I sometimes have the same 'sideways issue!'

Lucette, you've got a very interesting piece. You've made a great deal on that big branch.

Debby, hi! Confetti stitches can be very disheartening because you feel you're not making progress, but I can see that you have. Your 'Winter' is a lovely piece!

Here is my before and after from last week's SAL:

Thanks everyone for your kind comments and encouragement with my long-standing battle with confetti. I will NOT let it defeat me and will continue in the next SAL.

Nirmal, I think I can see that you have experience with the confetti too?

Wendy, hope you enjoy the cruise!
