    September Friday - Monday SAL

Good morning all! This week is our SAL for both GK and non-GK charts. Peter will be away fishing, so I should have lots of time to golf and stitch on David. I think I messed up last time with the extended SAL - there were five Fridays last month, but I started it a week too late, so this month will be slightly off. Will anyone be joining in?

Good morning! I may not get a lot done, but I would like to join in, and get some more done on my garden. Don't worry, Wendy-this will not be a 'stitch-alone'!!!!

I'm late posting. Here is my progress on David, and ... I've finished the third row! I had forgotten that the outline is total confetti, as was especially the case in his pouch - yuck! Now back to the left side, more of his arm, and loads more confetti.

I'm late, too, but here is my progress on Night Cafe. If I'm lucky, I'll finish that bottom section this evening and be able to move back over to to the right side again. It means going back to working black, but after all of the confetti in that orange/yellow section, I'm ready!

Beautiful work, Debbie and it is growing quickly! I'm loving all of the vibrant colours - and appreciating the artist. Once David is finished, I just may give one of these a try.

Good morning all! I'm a day late announcing our SAL, but this one will be for GK charts and I'll be continuing on with David's arm. Will anybody be joining in?

They are fun stitches. I think you'd enjoy one, Wendy. I also have Memories of First Love. I hope to get around to this one, although to be fair, I think I'm going to need three lifetimes to finish the ones I really want do to. I don't have this one kitted yet because I want to do it in silk. It's charted for NPI silks, which are a long way from my favorite. The ideal silk supplier was Vicki Clayton. She had a beautiful array of hand-dyed silks in a wide range of colors, but she has retired and they are no longer available. So I keep looking!

Congratulations on finishing the third row, Wendy! It's coming beautifully!

Debbie,I just realized you are setting a count on the days you work your piece-what a great idea!

Sorry I've been away, but I'm sitting in front of a computer all day, and when I get home, I just don't feel like seeing my computer! So I'm posting my before and after now. I took the after pic on Sunday-I had not done much this past SAL, but any little bit helps!
