Thank you Tamara! We moved some of her furniture today and arranged and re-arranged her room. Mom was with us and she met a few of the ladies whose rooms are near hers. It was like party-central for a time - we all had a great time! Now I'm really feeling good about a smooth transition - but I do know that tomorrow is another day.

Since my project is non-GK, I'm out for this weekend, but I'll be watching for updates.

And on a different topic, this past week I learned how to grid the photo of the design you're working on so you can compare your stitching progress to how far along you are on the photo. I've found I like to be able to do this. It gives me more of a sense of how I'm progressing. So this is what a gridded image looks like. And then you can set this next to your progress pictures to see where you stand against the completed project.

Beautiful work Abi! I can imagine that there are loads of colours in the 'blob'. You've stitched quite a bit - how is the hand managing?

I'm just about to telephone Mom to see how her first night went. Last evening she told my sister she didn't like it there, but we know she has to be there for at least a couple of weeks before starting to form an opinion. She's in much better shape than most of the people there, and she knows it.

Here's my David. All the progress is below his armpit.
