I started using the pin stitch on Magic Potion and love it. I don't do it all the time, but it sure helps.

Olfen I like the way you are doing yours. It is quite neat seeing how the picture progresses that way. We all have our own little ways of doing things and I love seeing them all.

yes Debbie I start and end with pin stitch, adapted so I end on front of work. With my GK pattern I am working on 34 count and it it works really well

I love the way that it simply doesn't show, even through you're working totally from the front. I would have trashed this and moved to a larger count on Magical Arrival if it hadn't been for the pin stitch.

Robert lovely work, the colours are so rich

I do the pinhead stitch on aida or high count evenweave but I'm using 18ct Davosa evenweave and trying to get the needle through the middle of the stitch is really trying so I gave up

I managed a bit on the small version of Art and Literature

    Progress as of 5/21/18

Here is my progress on Magical Arrival Storykeep through yesterday evening. It hasn't been progressing quite as quickly as I would have liked since that ribbon is confetti hell, but I'm almost through that section so things should move a bit more quickly, at least for a while. The first picture below is where I started from on May 8th, following my last progress post, and the second is where I was last night when I stopped. I'm now have 2,305 stitches completed or 9.7% of the way done.

I had the same problem when I started Magical Arrival. Someone pointed me to this video on YouTube, which solved my problem. It works, it doesn't show, and you don't have to try to come up in the middle of the stitch, which will actually destroy the fabric on 32 count https://youtu.be/CaIZ2W-k_3g

This looks like a lovely design. Which one is it?
