    flowers and fruit pattern 220

Started this 07th April 2018. Working it on Weddigen 160 linen, which is a very evenly woven linen primarily meant for Schwalm work, but also very suited to cross stitch. Count is 34, so working over two to give 17 per inch.

This is going to have such beautiful colours in it, Robert, and you've already got to stitch some of them, rather than boring background! That is a very fine fabric you're stitching on.

Thank you Yes this is a very fine fabric both in hole size and quality.

update on progress. The shading showing now. Plenty of confetti to deal with as well

Beautiful progress, Robert! Just a curious question about the diagonal - could you conceivably do the whole piece diagonally, or does there come a point where you absolutely must stitch either horizontally or vertically?

you can do the whole piece diagonally, need a roller frame and adjust as you go along. On this one im in two minds now, i was going to stop at 5 blocks down and go across, but im tempted to keep going, as i am on roller frame.
