Well, I didn't get very far on the new one this weekend, although to be fair, I didn't start until Saturday evening and only had the chance to stitch in short interrupted stints on Sunday and Monday. But it's started and that's the important part! So this is Autumn Garden Labyrinth. Fabric is a Zweigart 28 count opalescent Jazlyn evenweave in Autumn Blush and the design is worked 2 over 2.

Wow, Abi, you made huge progress. This is so lovely. It looks like you're reached the bottom of the design now. Not far to go. Have you selected your next one yet?

Lovely progress Chris! I thought my eyes were deceiving me on your after photo - I thought he was casting a fishing line and couldn't remember one in the chart, then I realised that it was sideways. Then I wondered 'Whatever is crawling up that poor boy's back?' in the full shot! Thanks so much for the full pic - we can put it all into perspective.

Debbie, you've made a beautiful start on your Autumn Garden - I love the colours!

Here is my Lesbia. For some reason, they've loaded in the wrong order.

Everyone did such great work! Abi you are so close!

Chris those boys look like they are having such fun now!

Debbie another beautiful start looks underway there.

Wendy your Lesbia looks gorgeous as it always does.

Sorry if if my reply is a bit odd, trying to do this with my phone since I left my laptop at work so I get an actual break in the evening. I think I managed to get my photos attached even if one is sideways. I cannot get it to rotate on my phone yet. My map is coming along though now I am torn. I got sent home on the weekend as they needed my room in camp so now I can work on my Magic Potions too and I really want to, but I want to keep going on this now as well. Too many choices

Fastantic progress on Lesbia, Wendy. I love the sense of shadows you get with this piece. There's light there, but you can just feel that she's standing in shadow looking out on the world. It's really amazing.

And Tamara, I just love the burst of color with this map. Most of the map patterns I've seen are in musted tones of brown and gold or in sepias so they look old. Don't get me wrong, they are great. But this one just pops! It's a lovely change. I'll look forward to seeing this one completed.

Well, back to Autumn Garden. I've promised myself a couple of uninterrupted hours with it this morning. Most of the work on it so far has been between bouts of laundry, dishes, or other housework. That's fine, as far as it goes. At least it gets me up out of the chair and moving. But it doesn't make for large amounts of progress on the design. The top band is all I've got until the next part of the design comes out at the first of October. I want to get it done, and then I think I'm going to pull out Yosemite Valley and work on it for a while. I haven't had that one out since I retired and I'd like to make some headway on it for a bit before returning to Night Cafe.
