    July Friday - Monday SAL

Sorry everyone, I didn't think to start a new thread for our July SAL. Please feel free to post your photos here. If they get posted in the June thread, no biggie - we'll still all see them!

Hello everyone, it's the lost sheep from NH. As I wrote to Wendy, I took several months off from this project when our choir director quit, *four days before Christmas*, and all of our music had to be reorganized - i guess she was more stressed than any of us had realized. Well, that's now finally under control, for the most part, so I'm back into this, hopefully or more than just a few months. Hope e link comes through - this is my Before photo from Saturday.

Monarch, sorry no before pic cause I forgot

Not a great pic but everything about this project is awkward to do and taking a true colour pic is nigh on impossible! Just started on his 1st antler, nothing like the stitched piece which is beige greens and tan and is totally all confetti All the top row of pages is mainly white cream and pale colours so once page 3 is done I'm going to work downwards for a while else it will end up in the bin.

Thanks Angela, I chose cream fabric on account of all the white thread but forgot about all the cream thread and there's loads

Villa is stunning! The detail in the pillar is gorgeous. Nice work

Meg, it's great having you back with us! You've come a long way on this project - I love the beautiful detail in the faces and the clothing. This is going to be one huge piece!

Abi, I love your Peonies so much! I think this is the bottom half of your row of pages? You're getting it done quickly. I can understand your frustration with the light colours in Monarch, but the painting is such a beauty! Hopefully when you get into the darker colours you'll regain some interest in it.

Angela, you're motoring right along once again! I love the detail in the pillars, as well as the depth of the corners and edges. Lovely progress!

I'm almost half-way done my page of Lesbia - this one is going very quickly!
