    September Friday - Monday SAL

Good morning all! This week is our SAL for both GK and non-GK projects. We're away on Prince Edward Island for a golf trip, back home on Sunday evening, so I'll only have a bit of time to stitch on Lesbia. Our game today may be rained out though. We'll see what this afternoon brings. Will anyone be joining in?

My hand is painful and has swollen up again so I'm not sure I'll get any stitching in this sal Being honest though besides the hand the thought of picking up Roses again is soul destroying. I'll see how things go.

Oh no Abi, soul-destroying?? I had no idea you were feeling this way about it. I hope your hand improves quickly, and perhaps it is your bad hand getting you down rather than Roses?

Abi, rest your hand honey my cousin has started using ice to calm hers down and it seems to be working for her but she doesn't stitch - she is knitting though and hadn't done that for and extremely long time but the ice is helping x

I hope it really is only your hand that is making you feel that way about Roses but I do understand - are you past where you were before? maybe then you will feel better about it xx

Thanks girls, Wendy is dead right Yesterday I was having a bad day and feeling sorry for myself so please ignore me. Today is better, I rested the hand, used ice packs and Voltarol gel and actually wore the wrist splint thingy. I will stitch a bit on a square tonight cause I can stitch 1 handed on those and with it being Aida once washed any uneven stitches look perfect.
Chris I still have 2 pages to go but I'm half way down the 1st page on the 2nd row. I have had to take it off the M frame because it was stretching the stitched row much more than the fabric and now the stitched row is wavy and wont lie flat so in future I'll work across instead of down.
    Angela I still love Roses
    Abi.....
