It's here! What quick service from GK I'm really impressed with the quality of the pattern can't wait to get started. How does everyone here start top left corner or the middle? How do you all grid can it be done with a light colored pen?

I start mine in the top left corner. Use a washable fabric pen, they work good and wash out easy, just make sure to use cold water or they will set.

I start in the top left corner too. It's so easy to just measure down and across to find my starting point, rather than count threads. I have never gridded - haven't found the need for it yet.

I start off like Wendy and use a pen like Angela so that's not much help I did try a washable marker pen used for quilting but it didn't wash out so now I will use the Clover water washable fine point as it works every time. Enjoy your new pattern

like Wendy I start top left but I do grid mine with a pen like Abi

if I upload photos from my Ipad I click on 'go advanced' which is just by post quick reply bottom right of text box then I click on manage attachments and from there you should get a window and top right of it should be add pictures or words to that effect if you click that it should then have a box with upload or select if you click select it should take you to your browser where your photos are stored on your tablet - highlight it and then click upload on the little box that appears with hopefully your pic in there then it should automatically load into the bottom of the original pop up box - sorry if this is long winded but this is the way I do it - then click done and submit and you should hopefully if you understand my drivvle have posted your photo xx hope this works for you and am sure there will be someone with an easier explanation who uses a tablet more than I do xx

I hope your fabric arrives quickly, April! Which count did you end up ordering?

Hopefully you can follow the instructions Chris gave you. We'd all love to follow your progress on this beauty! Did you buy the small or large version?
