Thread: The Lady and The Unicorn 1203

  1. #11
Carmen has just taken over my role of official mad woman.

This is a real beauty to stitch (I had often thought of getting the Lanarte? kit that they did of one of these tapestries). And bigger than anything I would attempt. I am not going to draw up a cup of tea and a chair to watch progress on this one, I am going to pitch a tent and set up base camp. Charred burgers anyone?

Ha ha! You guys made me laugh this morning!
This one may take awhile, but once completed it'll live with me forever, it'll be one of the things that will bring me joy even in the old folks home as it hangs on my wall...maybe I'll be known as the Unicorn Lady at the home lol

Quite the project! You've made a nice start - it will be very fun watching this come to life over the next 10 years.

Carmen, it's going to have to be an old folks home with HUGE walls

I have to say that having my GK forum fix each morning does make me laugh

End of May, beginning of June, took it slow due to an eye injury for a week, but it is coming along, it's more redbrown in person than brown as it looks on the computer, there's a bunch of grey flowers in this corner, Once complete this area won't even be noticed lol, the darker top corner...but I will remember each stitch as I had to concentrate my good eye lol!
