Wendy at least with the new glass I'll be able to see the picture instead of looking in a mirror. Gallery will eventually go in the same room so I'll have anti glare in that as well. I heard that it dulls the picture down and a lot of stitchers don't like it but I couldn't afford the museum glass as the price is more than the frame

Glenda as long as it doesn't rain here I'll take whatever comes

yep crazy weather all over the world I think my car was frozen this morning because we had hail stones overnight and Kate said that it is snowing in Elton which is 15 minutes away from here - she has cancelled her dentist appointment as she didn't want to drive in it with the boys in the car - we were looking after them whilst she went to the dentist - her 'snow' is a bit of sleet lol - don't think she wanted to go the dentist myself

I hope to be in with my Boys - as no pressing knitting etc to do - I will upload photos of the two cardys I have done for myself tonight we are out but then I think it's a quiet weekend

Abi, I didn't realize that museum glass was that expensive - what a shame.

Chris, we're all so used to driving in snow here that I don't think twice about it, but I won't drive in freezing rain. That's like driving on a skating rink. And I stay indoors during a big snowstorm, but once the roads are plowed things are back to normal, although they can be a bit slippery. We also have winter tires, which make a huge difference.

For anyone who stitches on linen, I came across this bit of info about starting off. It's in the bottom left corner of the second page. I haven't yet got my head around the compucard but that might come in handy for something too. I can't stand linen myself, except for tea towels.

Wendy the anti glare glass will do for me

I'm not a linen stitcher either. I have used it in the past but I prefer the even weave fabric. Thanks for the link Glenda!

Enjoy your snow Abi! We get too much for me to love it, although the scenery is so beautiful after a storm.

Abi, that finish is getting closer. It's nice when you can see the end in sight.

Abi, Gallery is looking fabulous you have done soooooooo much just in the last couple of weeks keep going and you will be on the last page before you know it

now here are my before and after I think the beigey browns are the body of the first little boy seeing as it is quite close to the top of the head from the previous row did a lot of confetti on the left side rocks so decided I needed to do some block colour too
