Extended SAL!! Please join in - all are welcome!

Good morning everyone! As you all know, there are five weekends this month, which means that once again we get to hold an extended SAL! I always enjoy these ones - we get to see so much more progress. The SAL will run from tomorrow, October 23 until Monday, November 2, giving us eleven days of stitching pleasure. I would love to see some new stitchers taking part, so if you have hesitated in joining us in the past, now would be a good time for you to join in the fun! These SAL's are great motivators. Stitch as much, (or as little) as you are able, on Golden Kite, non-Golden Kite or any combination of projects that you like. If you have any questions, please ask.

I will be continuing on with my Woman in a Green Jacket. Will anyone be joining in?
    Wendy

Woohooooooo!! Ed's Express just pulled into Woodstump Station. I know this SAL has almost another week to run but I couldn't wait, and I'm sure you'll all understand the feeling. The second picture shows how much I'd already done when I picked it up again on 14 August after a long rest.

Thanks, Abi. I must admit the backstitching certainly worked a lot of magic for me on this one. My favourite critter in it is the frog but he looked awful until I did the backstitch. He only had one hand in the original design because the cake hid his other hand, so I had to draw the other one in. That was a bit of fun! I need a few days off now to give my arm a rest and to catch up on some sleep - but it probably won't happen (taking time off from stitching, that is).
