May Friday - Monday GK SAL

Good morning all! This is the weekend for our GK SAL. I will be continuing on with my Woman and hope to get a fair amount done. Next weekend our golf course will finally open, and others in the area will start opening during the week, so my daily stitching time will be getting shorter. The golf courses are three to four weeks behind schedule due to the excessive snow we had this winter. Will anyone be joining in?

good morning all I hope to be in tonight with some stitching if the babies sleep for me as we have them overnight tonight actually this week I seem to have had them more than mummy and daddy but I love having them - having said that Oliver has discovered how to open the drawers on my cabinet that I have my threads in....... he has never seen me open them so I don't know how he knew they opened.... think I am going to have to turn it round so the drawers are facing towards the wall little tinkers x

It's amazing what they learn way before you want them to! I hope your needles are way out of reach - next thing you know he'll be playing with the shiny things!

What do you think of the dark brown line near the bottom in the 2nd pic? I have checked and it's the right colour but it seems to jump out a bit?

Your rose is such a beauty Abi, and is growing nicely. By the brown line, do you mean within the rose itself? If so, I can see it, but when I enlarge it and step back I think it adds to the depth of the petals - not the depth of the colour, but the depth of how deep the petal goes in to be joined to the flower stem, if that makes any sense.

I'll post my photos in a couple of hours. I had a bit of a sleep-in this morning!

Wendy thank you the line is aprox 7 blocks across from the L and 3 up, I'll do some more and see If it blends in better.

How are you feeling now and has it altered your golf swing style?Bet you cant wait till the club opens up.

I think that's the line I'm looking at. If you don't end up liking it, you could always stitch over it in one strand of something else, just to mute it.

I'm feeling much better now, thanks for asking, Abi! I had some blood tests a week ago and my hemoglobin is almost back to normal. It's hard to believe that Thursday will be eleven weeks since the surgery. I golfed on Saturday at a course near here (mine won't be opening for another week), and was very pleased with my first game of the year. I spoke with the pro at my course and he said that the reduction will definitely change my swing for the better, so I can't wait for the season to progress!
