    I got cracking and removed the dark brown line that hit me in the eye every time I picked it up. I tried several different shades but the holes in the fabric are stretching now so I'll stick with this one. Whats the verdict?

    I think it looks great Abi! It is still darker and shows the depth, but it isn't that straight, dark line. You're a colour genius!

    Yes, Abi, the second one is MUCH better. I don't remember the brown line standing out anywhere near that bad in the first picture you posted, otherwise I wouldn't have been so enthusiastic about it. It's definitely quite jarring and is definitely wrong, whereas the new colour blends in with the others and is just a deeper version of the rest, which is what it's supposed to be. That's my opinion anyway.

    Thanks girls Wendy It was just trial and much error
    I ended up going for one shade darker than the surrounding colour and I'm much happier with it now. I'll carry on using the original colours in the background and change any more in the Rose itself.

    A much calmer blending now Abi was well worth doing managed some stitching this Sal woohoo think the photos will be wrong way round but that's because I can't move them on the kindle think I need to replace this flipping thing.....
