    Finding Fabric

I like to stitch on 20ct fabric but can't seem to find a website that has pieces large enough. Any suggestions?

Sorry I can't help you Michelle. I always buy my fabric at my local shop. I hope you find what you are looking for!

Michelle, Chris gave a good link, I like 123 Stitchery, they usually are very fast at sending a order and I have also used
    http://www.needleworkersdelight.com/
That is the Sweigart Fabric's website for the U.S. here but they are not always fast at shipping.

I'm also looking for a Canadian source for large pieces of fabric. There are very limited supplies available where I live and it is difficult to find a store in the nearest city - which is a major excursion to get too. Do any Canadian stitchers have recommendations?

My local shop will ship Gail, but I don't know if their source is a Canadian site or not. If you tell me what fabric and size you want I can check on cost for you tomorrow.

Thanks for the offer Wendy! I'm thinking Aida, 16 ct, and for colour, the pattern recommends Antique White. Size needed is 70" X 47". I'm in BC.

Will do! We have a freezing rain warning for tomorrow, so there is a possibility that the store will be closed. Is this measurement in inches or centimetres? It looks like you mean inches, but looking at the chart the 16-count seems to be 25.0 x 15.9 plus whatever you want for a margin. You are probably going to find that it isn't quite as large as you had feared!!

The measurement is in inches. Are you looking at the chart for The Shores of the Turquoise Sea? It is 400 X 254 stitches. Maybe I'm not reading it right.

Yup, that's what I'm looking at - chart 1184? What I'm seeing on the fabric chart is width and height in inches, then width and height in centimetres. This is just the stitched area, then you can decide how much of a margin you want added to each side. I've also taken the stitch count and divided it by 16, which still gives 25 x 15.9. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong - I don't want to mislead anyone!
