    The Consummation

I have started The Consummation. I am working on
27 count evenweave over 1 using 2 threads, but doing tent stitch because of the blending aspect. I normally do 1 over 1 (See Puss in Boots WIP).

As soon as I have enough done I will post it for you to give it your appraisal, and I would like honesty please, if anyone thinks it's awful please say so, I am relying on you all, to give feed back. Thanks all.

Thank you Linda. Do you think I put the right thing about honesty, perhaps I should not have said that?

I am going to do a page at a time, if it is OK it will certainly be quicker.

    Thanks Linda,

Because it's not X's I wonder what others think. I have put in a three hundred stitches, but I have found it is better not to box myself in, but to park the threads. It looks much neater. Well I think it does.

I will probably put it on the site over the weekend.

Beatrice tent stitch is half cross stitch \\. So much quicker. It looks OK at the moment.

I have no problem with tent stitch. I do it all the time in needlepoint. It looks a little different up close. But on 27 ct fabric, you'd probably have to have a magnifying glass...at least I would! !dodge %-6

It seems perfect if the fabric doesn´t ... can´t be seen.
Must go very quick, half of the time....
Can you stitch from one side, or do you have to have one hand under the fabric and send the needle between the hands?
Sorry, I seem to put my language choicer to swedish, or definatly Off regarding to english...

    Beatrice,

Its exactly the same as cross stitch really, it is not stitched different. The coverage is good, and very fast.

If all goes well, the I will have no doubts doing the very large patterns.

The Marchetti pattern has gone down in the ranks, unfortunately.
