• Pre-Release patterns

There are hundreds of images in the 'Vote for Suggested Patterns' and 'Pattern Suggestions Old' galleries. These have not yet been converted to cross stitch patterns and only a few of them will make it in each monthly release. We pick the top rated ones to convert every month.

However, you may still request and order these other images in the galleries to be converted by using our 'Pre-Release Patterns' service.

    How it works

If you would like an image from those galleries made into a pattern we can do that right away for you. You decide if you would like it in any special size, or you can leave that for us to decide.
When we have created the pattern and you have paid for it you will receive it immediately.

The pattern will then also be released in our regular catalog at the next release date and priced according to our regular stock price list at that time.

The cost for this service is US$ 89.99 for one pattern in .pdf format sent to you by email, and US$ 99.99 (plus postage) for one printed pattern sent via regular mail.
The usual 30% discount for ordering three or more patterns will be applicable if you decide to combine this order with stock patterns from our on-line store.

    Ordering Information

Send us an email to info@goldenkite.com with information about the image, request size etc.

    Happy Stitching!

If I had a request of an image to be made into a pattern, but wanted to buy a kit, would you just price it on a per image basis? I know it depends on how many colours, etc are involved.

Thank you Lucette! Yes, the slingshot is mostly confetti and I'll be happy to have it finished - less than 200 stitches left on this page and a bit on

That’s great progress Wendy! Did you say that the slingshot is lots of confetti? I can’t remeber if I read that or not.

Unfortunately, no. It goes down to 231. I just haven't numberd beyond 130 yes because I mounted it to the scroll frame before doing the numbering.

Ahh Debbie, I thought that the line 130 was the bottom of the piece! Still a ways to go, then.

Thanks for your understanding. Unless you have gone through something similar you don’t understand the pain and lack of mobility. Some people

I'm in with Winter Wings Owl for the weekend. Oh, and Wendy, about your comment on my progress? I'm only a little over 40% complete on this design.

Any time, Lucette. I, too, remember what back pain like this was like. I was working on a rowing machine a few years ago and tore a muscle in my lower

Yes, it does affect everything. My husband and daughter do everything for me. I have hardly any spine mobility which is what the physio is slowly trying
